Privacy notice
Sky Labs is run by Sky Tech LLC, a Texas company. It is made for children, so a parent or legal guardian creates the account and agrees to this notice before any child profile is added.
What we collect
- Parent: name, email address, password (stored encrypted by our login provider), and the date you gave consent.
- Child: a nickname, grade and state; answers to lessons; writing; points, badges and rewards; and photos of handwritten pages only if you or your child choose to add one.
- We do not collect a child's full name, email, address, school, location or contact details, and we show no ads.
How we use it
- To run the lessons, keep progress, and show you reports.
- To give writing feedback and read handwritten pages, your child's writing or photo is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic). It is used only to produce that feedback and is not used to train AI models.
Who receives it
Only the service providers that run the app for us: Supabase (database, login and photo storage), Vercel (web hosting), Anthropic (AI feedback), and, on the paid plan, Stripe (payments; we never see your card number). We do not sell or share data for advertising.
How long we keep it
As long as the child's profile exists. Removing a child from the family page deletes their lessons, writing and photos right away. We delete inactive accounts after 24 months without a sign-in.
Your choices
You can see your child's work in the parent area, change their profile, remove a child, or delete your whole account yourself at any time (Settings, then Privacy, then Delete my account). That removes your login and every child's data and photos right away. You can also withdraw consent, and we will delete your child's data.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, each family can reach only its own records, and photos are stored privately.
